Schedules and Notifications
Firewall Analyzer automatically
alerts network administrators when there is a problem in the network or abnormal traffic behaviors (anomaly detection). Alerts can be set up to notify operators by
email, whenever a device is down, or a threshold has been
violated. Scheduled
reporting allows IT to keep track of device performance
and availability without having to manually
run reports every time.

Threshold-based
Alerting |
 |
Alerts can be set up for each device that Firewall
Analyzer reports on. You can choose the exact criteria
to trigger the alert, set the priority of the alert, and finally
set up an email
notification to immediately notify IT when the alert
is triggered. |

Anomaly-based Alerting |
 |
Alerts can be set up for detecting abnormal traffic behaviors or anomalies. Anomaly alert reports can be used for Network Behavioral Analysis (NBA).You can set the filters to detect anomalies, choose the threshold criteria to trigger
the anomaly alert, set the priority of the alert, and finally
set up an email
notification to immediately notify IT when the alert
is triggered. |
|
Automatic
Report Scheduling |
 |
Firewall Analyzer lets you set up schedules
to run reports automatically over specific time
intervals. Once set up, reports will be generated in
the selected time interval, and stored as PDF files.
You can choose to get these reports
emailed to operators (in PDF) so that they can take
a look at them when needed.
